Jack’s Attic will be back in full force come this Friday, March 27, 2009, when we unveil a brand new, handmade, dark art pendant design. This debuting pendant takes Jack’s Attic into a whole new direction in terms of design element while still retaining the underlying dark current that runs through our entire collection.
So, please check back in with us later this week on Friday, March 27, 2009, to view the new pendant design that will not only signal the return of Jack’s Attic but also the beginning of several exciting changes we have in store.

After our brief hiatus we here at Jack’s Attic have re-entered the workshop and are feverishly working on an all new series of handmade, dark art jewelry. Utilizing new materials, new shapes, colors and design elements this forthcoming line of pendants promises to be our most exciting yet.

Jack’s Attic – Taking Some Time Off
Jack here. It is with a heavy heart and much regret that I must inform you all that as of today, January 16, 2009, Jack’s Attic will be going on a temporary hiatus.
A string of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control has forced us into a situation in which we have to divert all attention and efforts away from Jack’s Attic and focus them on more pressing matters
While this situation has taken us by surprise one thing we do know, is that we will be back with new handmade, dark art pendants. Unfortunately though, we cannot say when this return will be. It is our hope that this break is fleeting and we can be back with all new designs as quickly as possible.
Again, a million thanks to all of our patrons, friends, supporters and well wishers.
Please be sure to check back in every so often, because like any good monster, that which doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger and we will rise again.

Looking Toward the Future: 2009
We here at Jack’s Attic would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of our patrons that made 2008 a great start for us. And it was just that, a start. We have a lot of very exciting designs ready to be unveiled in 2009.
New colors, shapes and materials are all part of our upcoming 2009 design collection. The foundation that was established in 2008 will provide an excellent springboard for where Jack’s Attic is going. If you were pleased with what we had to offer in 2008, we know that you will be more than satisfied with what is on the horizon.
We have a tentative release date of January 16, 2009, for our next handmade, dark art pendant design. In the meantime we will continue to post about the other dark corners we like to peer into: horror movies, ghost stories, scary video games and other things that go bump in the night.
So, once again, all of us here at Jack’s Attic whole heartedly thank all of our patrons, supporters and friends for making 2008 a great year for us and hope that you all follow us into the unknown of 2009.

Goody Brewster our Latest Dark Art Pendant Design
On the morning of July 15, 1692, Goody Brewster, the wife of the village grave digger, Benjamin Brewster was marched to the edge of Terryman Point. She was bound in rope and before the gathering crowd, Sheriff Corwin attempted one last time to elicit an admission of guilt from the accused woman. Spitting in his face, Goody Brewster again denied being in league with the minions of Satan or of having harmed any of the village children. Reverend Mather then stepped forward, asked the Lord to forgive Goody Brewster and then pushed her over the edge of Terryman Point.
A short time later, stories were told of sightings of Goody Brewster outside of windows and in trees on stormy evenings. Some in the village even attributed crop failure and the death of live stock to her spirit.

The Darkness is Spreading
With recent purchases from our Etsy Shoppe we know have pieces of our handmade, dark art pendant collection in New York, Florida, Texas and our home state of Michigan. We also have some prospective patrons in Canada as well. It is our hope that one day at least one of our pendants finds a home in each of the fifty states. But we can only achieve that goal with you. So, please check back in often as we are always working on new designs and we are sure that you will find something that will strike your fancy.

Friday the 13th Blu-ray Art and Specs
Here is the final cover art for the eagerly awaited debut of Friday the 13th on Blu-ray. It’s pretty classy if you ask me. It’s a reworking of sorts of the original Friday poster art. A nice update with a tip of the hat to the original. I especially like the knife being the “1″ in 13. Very nice indeed.

2008 Holiday News
The 2008 holiday shopping season is well under way and due to some unexpected remodeling to the workshop we’ve been delayed in posting our upcoming holiday promotions. Now with the shop back and better than ever we’ll be debuting two new handmade, dark art pendant designs before Christmas. The first of which will be released this coming Friday, November 28, 2008. Aptly nicknamed “Black Friday”. The second new pendant design will be unveiled the following Friday, December 5, 2008.
Also on “Black Friday” we’ll be announcing a major promotion to coincide with the holiday season.

Baron Samedi – New Limited Edition Dark Art Pendant Design
Today, November 2 is the “Day of the Dead” known in Voodoo as “Fet Gede”. It is the day to honor the dead and pay tribute to Baron Samedi. In the religion of Voodoo, Baron Samedi is the spirit who stands at the crossroads of this life and the next. It is believed that he also has the power to awaken the dead.
In honor of “Fet Gede” we here at Jack’s Attic proudly offer a new, limited edition, dark art pendant depicting a freshly risen ghoul. Our tribute to the Baron. This design has been hand stamped and colored and given the same careful attention to detail and craftsmanship that one would expect from Jack’s Attic. Only five pieces of this particular design have been made and once they are purchased they will never be duplicated. Each piece has been hand numbered and dated to commemorate the “Day of the Dead”.
