Say what you will about Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest. Yes the game has its fair share of flaws. However, in the music department, the game really shines. Kenichi Matsubara composed some pretty amazing music and the soundtrack stands out as one of the best in the entire Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) library. The soundtrack also features “Bloody Tears” which has become one of the most popular video game tracks of all time and has appeared in nearly every Castlevania game since Simon’s Quest
